Laboratory blood tests such as Avise are covered by most insurance plans. Cypress Bioscience will bill the insurance company on behalf of your patients as long as complete insurance information is provided on the test requisition form.

When your patient elects for us to bill third-party private insurance, a special communication will be sent to the patient outlining the billing process. Cypress Bioscience also offers a patient assistance program for those who can demonstrate financial hardship. In the event that the insurance provider does not fully cover the service, Cypress Bioscience will assist the patient with the appeal process, if desired, and/or arrange for direct payment from the patient.
