The Avise MCVSM test is appropriate for use as an aid in the diagnosis of RA, and to identify those patients who may experience more severe disease.
Are the Avise tests covered by insurance?
Coverage will vary by plan and region. This technology helps to optimize methotrexate dosing and can play a role in reducing the total cost of care for patients and their insurance plans. Are the Avise tests available from my local hospital or reference lab?
These tests are performed exclusively in our specialized medical laboratory in San Diego, CA. Area representatives can help arrange for your preferred local lab to collect and ship patient blood samples for you.
How long does it take for results to be provided?
Results are typically dispatched in two business days of receipt of the blood sample. On the test requisition form you can indicate your preferred method of delivery.
