Laboratory Certifications

Exagen's clinical diagnostic laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), a leading organization of board-certified pathologists that serves patients, pathologists, and the public by fostering and advocating excellence in the practice of pathology and laboratory medicine. We are also certified under CLIA, a Federal program designed to ensure the quality, accuracy, reliability and timeliness of laboratory testing.

In addition to CAP and CLIA certification, some states require state laboratory certification in order to provide testing services in their state. Exagen has certifications for California, Florida, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
